http://www.evertonfc.com/news/article.asp?id=5634 Brian talks a lot in this. All his thoughts about his new surroundings among other things. Its a good read.
Playing Time I expect Brian will play quite a lot. One of the English pundits pointed out Moyes knew exactly what he was getting when he got McBride, and so we can expect he wanted him, and that Brian will see considerable daylight. And he bagged a goal right off the bat! The same pundit figured McBride was a direct replacement for oft-injured Duncan Furgeson, who is probably never coming back... Taking it a little farther, what with the tight money in the English Game just now, and Rooney not being the same type of forward McBride/Ferguson are (big), maybe a permanent move for Brian is a possibility... But then again he did leave the wife and kid home.
the kid actually isn't his...it's hers from a failed marriage. Well, it's his now, but I think you know what I mean.
He did his job yesterday. I got tired at the end. I still dont understand why they let him for the entire game.
I'm overjoyed for Brian. I'm so happy that he did well on his debut. I hope he continues to help Everton in any way he can. And I hope he wins the hearts of the Goodison faithful. How did they react to him yesterday. I heard they were chanting "U - S - A".
we all know any goal(s) against Liverpool that lead to a victory, if he plays in the derby, will make him a crowd favourite...here's hoping for a hat trick!
It wasn't because they wanted to get someone else on...they only used 2 subs. Presumably, no one else was match fit and ready to go who could play forward. Spurs only made 1 sub, for that matter.
