They blew a golden opportunity yesterday. I know someone will scream, but look at the injuries. You honestly believe that Fulham is better or EQUAL club to Utd??? I didn't think so. I can't wait for the REALLY incredible matches in December....Liverpool, Utd and Arsenal all play each other....now that's the Premiership at it's best!
    Later,

    you can't win them all

You know Patrick1234, you can't win every game. Yes, Fulham gave Man Utd a run for their money Saturday, but look who we missed. Nicky Butt didn't play the whole game, Ruud was out, Diego still sucks, and we Fulham played a great game. All credit due to the recent turn around where the small teams can actually take on man utd on equal terms. Just think, until last year hardly any of the small teams ever won a game at Old Trafford. All those records were broken last year. We might not that the 43 game winning streak like Nottingham Forest, but at least we are still always at the top of the table and have a chance.

    Real nice Motterman

Just commenting on how Utd is very good side, things are just not clicking this year. Injuries and poor play. Diego has got to go...I heard a vicious rumor that Scholes and Veron for some player from Italy or Spain...is this true???
    Thanks,
    Patrick

Scholes is probably untouchable. Veron on the other hand....

let's face it, Veron is only good for the CL. maybe that's good enough for the PLCs bottom line. I dunno the numbers on how getting to the 1/4 s or the semis affects us in money terms.
Diego? well....that's best left for another day.
if they sell Scholes I think that'd be a big mistake.
they need to get some back up players cheap, like Lpool and the Arse have been doing. bring them in young and turn them into true Red Devils (on low salaries). at least if it doesn't work out then we haven't wasted vast sums in vain.
    just mho.

    Here, Here, UsSupport!

Getting inexpensive back-ups is a brillant idea. Really wish I knew how much each club spent. I know the big stars..Becks, Owen, and Henry...must make a bundle.

Great Pen. shot stop by Barthez....man it was HUGE.

    Bye,
    Patrick

    Hey...655321..'Pool isn't destroying people either.

Pool play very good D, but tentative O. Arsenal and Utd are very agrressive on O, many scoring chances from different people, NOT just Owen(who by the way, is AWESOME), but it takes more than just one striker...in my humble opinion.
    Bye,

No, I'm saying that Patrik is clueless. Owen is hardly our only striker this season. Combine that with the fact that we're getting goals our midfield as well, and his posting makes even less sense. But hey, that's fine, think what you want. If you'd like me to re-post the scoreline from the last five Liverpool-ManU encounters, I'd be glad to.

Hesky, Haji Douf, Baros are not putting the fear of God into anyone!

I know that Utd have not been lighting up people, but hey their D is not great either. Liverpool, this season and last has won with GREAT defense.
Why do you have to insult me?

I'm sorry about the "clueless" comment, honestly.
But Liverpool are not getting by on Owen alone, that's my main point. It makes no sense to say that when we're getting goals from so many other people.

    Sorry I forgot Riise..

I like him. He is quite good. Baros has surprised many fans. Still don't know Liverpool got rid of Anelka, maybe he was just too expensive. I personally think he is tad overrated.
    Take care,

I think we could win the CL if we put in a stupendous effort, and, most importantly, add depth to our squad when the window opens. Same again for the premiership, but obviously theres a need for Arsenal and Liverpool to drop points against 'lesser' opponents. It could happen, but its a fairly naff thing to put all your hopes into, as well as hoping utd go unbeaten for ages, which probably won't happen unless we add to the squad

This isn't the Liverpool forum troll. No one cares how the Scousers are scoring their goals.

Why don't you read the whole thread and see why I posted that, instead of shooting off your mouth in some vain attempt to be a tough guy.

One of your comrades made a comment that Liverpool was relying soley on Owen for goals. I corrected him.

Replying to peoples statements, whether they are widely accepted by you people or not, is not trolling. Perhaps I got a bit personal, fair enough, but I was not trolling. Learn the definition before you use the word.

In reality, this thread was ridiculous before it even began. Let's just forget anyone said anything.

    Liverpools recent success over United

Liverpool’s success over United is relatively recent. At onetime we hardly lost to the scousers. We went something like 13 years before we lost at Anfield. It’s strange that when Liverpool were on top in the 70's and 80's we had a good record against them, recently things seem to have been reversed.

We need take some points this year against both Liverpool and Wenger (I didn’t see the incident) boys. It’s funny how Wenger never sees anything. At last Bergkamp is going before the FA for stamping, he always stamping and lashing out. At least Keanes honest about himself.

I agree. Scholes is not going anywhere and Fergie loves Veron so hes not going anywhere either. I hate Veron and wished we never got him. I was more then happy with Giggs/Scholes/Keane/Beckham in our midfield.

Are people out to get me???

What is this talk about this thread being stupid. I swear every topic/question I post people criticize it, like how dare I open my mouth to the footie gods. Acting like this is not going to promote the sport with uneducated and curious Americans.
If you don't like the post, then don't reply or leave your own. Listen to your mother, "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all!"
    Be well,
