It would be nice to have him in the MLS. Same with having Telfer, Irwin, Costacurta, and others. Probably isn't going to happen though. It's hard to see how it would Sure, arse didn't extend his contract but you'd have to think he can make it at a lot of clubs in the EPL, Bundesliga or others for a better salary and better competition than he'd get in the MLS. Besides, does NY even have a SI available?
Why should we have any of these guys? I don't understand what the point is in bringing in washed up, old players (30+). What Bob has done with the squad so far is bring in some YOUNG players, mixed in with some veterens, non of which are over 30 (with the exception of Richie Williams). Sure it would be nice to have any of these guys (Luhzny, Costacurta, Irwin) but not now. If we add a player, it should be a striker or midfielder, close to the age of Amado.
