Cuevas will not be playing today with Club Brugge NXT. He has been selected to participate in the US U20 Camp from 19-29 January. Full roster is here.

He did get into the match which ended 0-0. The draw solidified 5th place and they had qualified for the promotion playoffs last week.
The last 10 matches of the Challenger Pro League season have been broken up into the top 6 teams who will play for promotion, and the bottom 6 who will fight to avoid relegation. Cuevas and Club Brugge NXT finished in 5th place and are in the Promotion Playoffs. They finished with 36 points. Molenbeek finished in 1st with 46 points. So NXT is 10 points behind, but also there are four clubs ahead of them. 30 points on tap, and only one club gets promoted. I would be very surprised in NXT were to be promoted. Very surprised. In essence, since there is no "punishment" of relegation that we could see some very exciting approach from Anderlecht U23 and NXT. They have noting to loose, literally. Beveren and Molenbeek have more to lose as they are ahead.
