Last year GersMan was good enough to post some information about former VCU player Matthew Pauls, who went somewhere in Germany. Well, I finally found him at TuS Dassendorf. Unfortunately, he doesn't appear to be there anymore and I'm not sure if he is still in Germany, in Europe, playing soccer, or anything else for that matter.
He was playing with the Richmond Kickers Future PDL team at the end of last season. Not sure what he's been doing since then.
He went on a trial with Hannover96, but broke his hand on the first day. He went back for 2 weeks, but work permits couldn't work out. I think he is going to try and play in the US next season.
