From an article on the league website about ex-MLS (including academy) players. "The word going around town is that Olosunde could be done at Manchester United, with local rumors claiming he's headed to MLS."

I really wanted that RBNY loan rumor last summer to be accurate. Floundering in the United reserves is a waste of time.

Olosunde made the bench for the United reserves. He stayed on the bench while the manager elected to use only one sub.He was the oldest member of the squad tonight as the only ‘98. Everyone else was a ‘99 or younger. pic.twitter.com/nx2KfFNVbV— Daniel (@DanielSmith1022) February 2, 2019

Anyone know when his contract ends? I'm sure there's quite a few MLS teams who would love to pick him up for free this summer, if possible.
No, but I can't imagine the fee would be prohibitively high. I think the Red Bulls retain his homegrown rights though, so if they don't want him (which is unlikely), some club would have to trade for those first.
He will transfer to Red Bulls 2 and they'll try to back door a career for him like Long and Duncan. Speaking of the latter, that means it's bad timing for Olosunde. But he couldn't wind up at a better organization to re-develop and reinvent him as a prospect.
Murillo isn't long for New York IMO. I can definitely see him being sold in the summer, Duncan promoted, and Olosunde brought in as cover. Connor Lade has shown in his last 5ish appearances that he can't play fullback at this level, so I imagine they'll want to replace him at some point too.
Out at ManU? #mufc will release the following players this summer - James Wilson, Regan Poole, Matty Willock, DJ Buffonge, Zak Dearnley, Callum Whelan, Tom Sang, Tyrrell Warren, Millen Baars and Matty Olosunde #mulive [mail]— utdreport (@utdreport) May 23, 2019
