    Agreed.
Except for Harit. Trust me, he saw him. He just prefers the 1 vs 3 game.

You are going to -love- Uth, lol....

From what I see, he keeps running into space that is not reachable by a pass from one of his mates unless he can do a Maradona-like precision ball.

Maybe you missed the game, but he was wide open twice in the first half, and nothing from Harit. Especially that 2v1. All Harit had to do was push it forward. Terrible decision making. Worse case he gets the ball back from Hoppe and gets a tap in.

Between watching Bremen and Schalke I'm continually astounded by the horrific decision making and/or lack of awareness that occurs every week in the final third of the field. You would think it wouldn't be an issue at this level, even for the basement dwellers.

Harit misses Hoppe at the 4:00 minute mark. He's wide open but takes the shot. Oh well.

To be fair, Harit didn't have a 1 vs. 4 with Hoppe open so the shot it totally understandable :)

Hoppe with the swing and miss and the ball goes through the whole Schalke defense for the lone winger to put it in. 2-0

    SMH.
I'll just quote Hoppe "I'll do my best even if we are sent to 2BL"

I have never seen a professional team so poor at set piece defending. It’s so bad, it’s comical. Two goals directly from a corner and another goal resulting from a poor clearance on a corner. Horrendous.

Schalke takes one back. Hoppe not directly involved, other than pulling the defender for just a bit to give him teammate the clearing for the score.

    Edited.
They are losing 80% of their roster on a free at the end of the year and are bankrupt.
They will be basically playing with Schalke II.... and Hoppe.

I just got to let this loose: Harit and Uth can go ********themselves.

It was a well conceived dummy! At least, that is what I would claim.

Honest question. Did Harit try and block Williams shot 4 min ago?

Odds Kolasinac gets thrown out of this one? Ref was close to giving him a yellow on the first counterattack-ending foul.

And Harit is hurt. Other than that, the midfield is all aces.

Nothing in the early going on. Midfield is congested and a lot of turnover by both teams. Hoppe’s only contribution so far has been; coming back and receiving the ball in a dangerous spot, then dribbling out of danger beating two defenders, then getting a forward ball to a small failed attacking play.

#20 from Schalke is flirting with a red card. He is a hack

Mainz defenders successfully playing a physical style on Hoppe. We'll see if he can adjust or draw a foul or two.

How are these teams bottom of the table? Could it be that both midfields can’t string any passes together?

Can we just relegate both teams at halftime so we don’t have to watch any more of this.

Mesut Ozil's personal bodyguard deserves more credit than just being a number on Schalke. :ROFLMAO:

Not sure either team looks like a promotion favorite next year.
