  2. There is also a paragraph on Faria at the bottom hinting his lack of professionalism. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. It's hard acting in a professional manner when you work with a bunch of amateurs.

"It's going to be weird seeing him with the other team, and there's still a sour taste over the way everything went down but we've moved on," said Fire midfielder DaMarcus Beasley. "We're going to be looking to beat him all season."

Oh, so thats what that sensation in my mouth has been since the end of last year.

Ah, nice. That's actually a new article, I was referring to the one entitled " Mathis sent to sideline"

Ha, sure. Having visa problems every year he has been in the league is a sign that the team he plays on is amateurish.

Hey if Cleutus spent as much time working on his abs as he did on his bar - the groin pull could have likely been avoided.

At this rate the only people calling him at the end of the year are going to be Nick S., Ivan G. and his Budweiser delivery guy.

I just don't understand why a guy with such an amazingly smart soccer brain - can continue to make such dumba$$ decisons when related to his physical conditioning.

I wonder if "visa problems" are another english interpretation of the portugese word carneval.

There are a LOT of things you "just don't understand," one of them being that sports hernias are simply very common. The list of MLS players who have had hernia surgery is pretty long, and doesn't have a damn thing to do with conditioning. Off the top of my head: Wade Barrett, Santino Quaranta, Jost Wolff, Bobby Convey, Tony Sanneh, Chris Henderson... I'm sure I could think of way more, but it's a waste of my time.

But of course, if Mathis suffers from a run of the mill sports injury, it has to be due to falling over in a drunken stupor.

Everywhere I go all I hear about is Mathis' supposed bad physical condition. Please. I'm sure he's done a lot more than 98% of the people on these boards and does it really matter to anyone on here? Is Clint Mathis, soccer prodigy going to make CNN if he isn't in enough shape to make it to the WC 2006? No. Let him do what he wants, it is his life, and I'm sure he understands a lot more about what he's been doing as of late than anyone else on here.
