Talk is cheap. We will see in a few weeks how focused he is. I hate the idea of him in the midfield, though.

Moreno could play the attacking mid role also. If they plan on playing Mathis in the midfield, they better start signing some forwards, because right now we only have Clint and Moreno, and a player from the draft.

I think the chant "There is only one Clint Mathis" should be changed to "There are only two Clint Mathises"

Haha! That's a good one. How bout "We want cybill ". Maybe that's why defenses have no clue what he's going to do, because they don't know which Clint is on the pitch?

When I last saw Clint a couple weeks back, he was fat and smelled like bourbon and looked like a bum. Then again, everything is "re-focused" after a couple brewskies.......

    Central Park South,
I wouldn't be surprised if Clint has re-focused. Not necessarily for the Metros sake but to sign a hefty Euro contract in the summer. Then again who could blame him for the way the league treated him.
I think MLS is the only league in the world that if you say you want to leave to Europe and an offer comes along and the league refuses to even negotiate.
