As for analysis, I analyzed Clint's goal celebrations only decently -- but I certainly left the door open for others. The problem must be that there was no meat to the discussion. ...Well actually it did provide an update and insight regarding an important issue - the much-debated physical and psychological state of the US national team's rehabilitating top goalscorer - albeit couched in a lightly humorous sketch of its context. So the rule for N&A must be "don't try anything funny." My bad.

Formerly, that pass would have garnered a second assist in MLS. And did anyone else notice Clint's goal celebration, Saturday? Lately he's done a little dance while pointing to the fans. Saturday he seemeed to lift his shirt to show off his stomach to somebody. Can anyone confirm this? I wonder if some Colorado fans were giving him "stick" about being out of shape? We've certainly heard a lot of that in this forum, and fans might be glad to know Clint's heard that criticism and is responding to it in a very positive way - by taking pride in his recovery of goalscoring - and athletic - form.
