I think I have. I get the player up, and the button moves across the bottom of the player, like it is actually playing, but there is no picture. It looks like a real pale yellow box is where the picture should be.

Try getting QT 6 - if the encoding was done in mpeg 4 you need QT6 to view it.

Besides that - there is no excuse for owning a PC ;)

They're not encoded in Mpeg 4. That format excludes Mac users who don't have QT6. That's too many people.

What version of Windows are you running?

What version of QuickTime do you have?

    Try downloading the latest.

Wow. No doubt about Mathis deserving a card but the Howard one is questionable.

    Thanks for sharing.

I've been awaiting that jab since I first posted. And that is what my two mac friends tell me, also.

    I will try that.

    Thanks for the help guys.

How can anyone think that Mathis didn't deserve a red for that? And it looked to me like Alegria won the initial challenge as well. Mathis was late. Idiot, biased MetroTard fans....

When I first saw the clip, it looked like Mathis was trying to keep his footing and just happened to come down hard on Alegria, but upon subsequent viewings of the clip, you can tell where Mathis brought his foot down extra hard and that he knew where it was landing, based upon his immediate look up at the official to see if he'd been busted. To be fair, Alegria over-reacted like he'd just been hit with a cattle prod, judging by the way he writhed upon the ground....

I thought the Howard red card was harsh as well, but Lassiter DID get to the ball first, and Howard tripped up Roy on what was an excellent scoring opportunity. I think if it had happened inside the box, the ref would have been justified in giving Howard a yellow since the PK would have been penalty enough.

Thanks for posting those clips. I didn't get the chance to see the Mathis red card before.

algria was definatley embellishing what mathis did like a little bitch, but the red card was totally deserved.

i also didnt think there was much question to howards card. lassiter had beaten him the ball, and howard had fouled him, and howard was the last man. its a textbook red.

Howard was not the last man back as there was a Metros defender in the center at the same level as Lassiter.

...that couldn't have stopped the play. "Last man back" refers to a defender, or in this case goalie, being the last person able to make a play on the ball before the offensive player is in alone on the goal.

Actually, that doesn't matter. The rule is that he denied a clear goal scoring chance, which he obviously did.

Not necessarily. A guy can be on a breakaway with the goalie still in front of him, but if a defender comes in from behind or the side and fouls him that should also be a red card since it's an obvious goal scoring opportunity.

Add my vote to both being clear red cards.

Howard is the last man back, since the metro running "parallel" with Lassiter had about ten yards in lateral distance to make up. The goal scoring opportunity was obvious.

Hear here! And don't be surprised if Mathis gets some extra consideration for his 'Georgia Stomp'.

The Howard one was the weaker of the calls - I think it should've been a yellow and not a red.

I don't see how anyone could argue that Mathis didn't deserve a red. He bloody stomped the guy. If I do that, it's assault. =)
