    Ah, yes, quite true.
However, i was not making a point of diminishing his competency in dispatching the kick, i was merely saying it was a penalty.
It's not like he turned several defenders inside out, and lashed a screamer into the bottom corner of the net.
He's had several games so far, where he's been very much a spectator.
    I'm still on the fence.

I think Mourinho regrets buying Kezman.

Comeon the guy is useless, I can't remember him ever doing anything in a game except falling over..

    No, not at all.
I wouldn't say he's useless by any stretch of the imagination.
It is, however, a real possibility, that he may not be a good fit for the Prem.

    Big difference.

Maybe, and that's why I would love for him to start against us.

    Yeh
Kezman was really good at Ajax
but i reckon Drogba was better at Lyon and so was Ricardo Carvalho at Sporting Lisbon

I LEAVE FOR A FEW HOURS... sheesh.

*puts on her best Edith Bunker voice*

    OH CLAAAAAAAAAAAN BLUE!!

Comin' into my little Kezza appreciation thread, spreading the doubt that I would come to expect from the shaky lil' Gooners... TSK TSK I say, good sir. ;)

    A few minor points -

    1. Kezza played for PSV. Hence his nickname being Batman, to Robben's ...er.. Robben, heh.

    2. He's a sturdy lad, and doesn't fall over half as easily as many many players in the EPL.

    3. Jose does not regret Kezza's presence, click the feckin' link.

    4. Yes, it was just a penalty, but he pulled it out for us against West Ham too, don't forget. Besides, I like him, he's got a great team spirit and work ethic, and I wanted a place to gush so as not to bother the non-Kezza believers. (see also: eddie, the anti-Kezza, and sadly, my former friend Clanblue. ;) )

Now... you Gooners? Skedaddle. You fellow Blues? Don't have anything nice to say, don't type it out here. ;)

And when he scores against the Arse, come celebrate here with me. :D

No no no... YOU have the troll face, Kezza has a sort of cute little elf-like face. BIG difference, duh. ;)

And another great account from the Newcastle game:

    Dramatic account

Didier Drogba played for Marseille, and Ricardo Carvalho played for FC Porto not Sporting Lisbon - by the way!

But Drogba beat the crap out of Lyon when he played them. Likewise Carvalho at Lisbon. Right :)

Can you imagine if Chelsea gets PSV and Kezman and Robben have to play at their old home??

I don't think Kezman would play if that happened. But I'd rather draw PSV than anyone else anyway, I know CFCinDC would disagree with me, but it'd be worth it to draw them and not have Mateja play.

Get out of my head, eddie! While I was cruising in some other thread around here, I was thinking the exact same thing. It'll be rough for them, to say the least. Perhaps another incident like this:

    I hope not.

See I think the opposite. I think he would be invaluable. He would be so pumped. I know he may have a confidence problem right now but I think he would be a terror. Remember he scored over 100 goals for PSV in the Dutch League. He's proven there. He's not proven in England.
