(From FFC Webpage) Former Republic FC products on the Fresno FC roster include forward Christian Chaney and center back Mickey Daly. Fresno connections on the Republic FC roster include forward Villyan Bijev (Edison HS/Buchanan HS) and defender Elliott Hord (Fresno Fuego/Bullard HS/UC Davis).

Sorry for the cut and paste commentary - this midweek game snuck up on me.

Fresno is two points up with a game in hand?

    Unacceptable.

Gritty performance when we needed a win. A little lucky in this one - Warners goal was opportunistic and against the flow of play, and Fresno's goal was disallowed. Western Conference is tight. We went from 12th to 4th in one game.

A little worried about our offense. Largely absent for long stretches.....

Well, I didn't see the game, which makes me as qualified as I ever to comment. I, too, am worried about this offense. However, looking at the starting 11 last night, that was not a lineup chosen to score goals. Blackwood the lone forward? Villareal, Hord, Skundrich, Werner and Partain all in the midfield? That's not much pop. I assume we played a little bunker ball in hopes of quickly countering.
