The Arsenal vs Chelsea (Matchday 6)
    Location: Stamford Bridge, London
    Kickoff: 6:45 A.M Central
    When: Saturday, 9/19/2015
    Broadcast Info: NBCSN

    Prediction: Arsenal 3-0

So let's face it. We had a dire game yesterday, but I honestly believe it was an abnormality speaking in terms of this season. While we haven't scored many goals, we have done a good job imposing ourselves on most matches this season. Because of this I believe we will bounce back on Saturday having rested some of our key players. Let's also face the fact that Chelsea, while having won yesterday, has looked terrible in the league. I think that form will continue, which gives us a leg up. Having said that, I say 3-0 to the Arsenal, with Wenger putting the final nail in Chelsea's hope of a title defense!

    --------------Walcott------------
    Sanchez-----Ozil----Ramsey
    ----------Cazorla-Coq---------
    Nacho-----------------Bellerin
    ---------Koz------Gab----------
    -------------Cech----------

Asked this In the pub thread, but no replies. I'm gonna be on Long Island for the game. Any gooner bars ooput there? It's a bit early kickoff for a trip into Manhattan, but how early does one need to get to the blind pig?

745? you'll be fine, but it's Chelsea so I'd say 715 at the latest

Don't have any high expectations for this one.

Wish I could be optimistic for this one but I can't.All of my optimism stops after the keeper, back 4 and Coquelin. I feel that those 6 players have been excellent. Other than that the other guys aren't doing their job. We run out of ideas too often and are predictable. Ozil has had some good games. Santi as well. Outside of that I don't feel we have much going forward.

Not confident, but hopeful. 1-1 or 0-0 would suit both managers probably so I wouldn't expect a blistering start.

Here's hoping for a few of these:

And , no, not Cech getting beat at his near post.

Thanks. Know of any arsenal bars on Long Island? Not sure if I can convince my friend to trek into Manhattan at 6:30 am on a Saturday.

It's impossible for me to feel confident at the bridge. I know Chelsea are in awful form, but we aren't in form either. I predict we will lose to Chelsea 1-0.

    That said, 1-1.

It's getting (gotten to?) the point where Chelsea look at Arsenal the way Arsenal look at Tottenham:

"Yeah, you may be beat us from time to time but we both know that we're just a better team than you are."

    Which is depressing.

I'm probably not getting all the whys and wherefores of this but tbh it doesn't seem like a hard choice. Even if I cared about F1, I think I could forgo watching qualifying for Arsenal-Chelsea.

Yeah no hope for this :( lucky to get a draw

Mou finally makes the changes he should have made Gets rid of Ivanovic. Brings on Oscar maybe Loftus Cheek.

Costa does a Drogba. Looking bleak :(

My God guys. The game still has to be played. I get the pessimism, but "no chance", "all hopes are lost", come on. We may lose, we may get smashed. We also may smash them. It's maybe the most up in the air game in a long time.

Yeah we lost, and they won.

Guess what, it was Macabi Tel Aviv! They have looked like shit against every single Prem team. Let's not get too worked up. At least we've won some games in the league.

...and which leads me to THIS question: what kits will we be wearing, the Red/white or the Gold/Navy strip??? I will be wearing one of my O2 strips in the same color scheme for this one, COYF'n'G!!!

I'm definitely getting up at 4:00 am PDT for the BPL LIVE show on NBCSN, and to grill up some morning brats (I used to do that with Wolfsburg every week in the BL) and they'll be ready by kickoff time. As for predictions it will be a pretty tight tilt, but I say 2-nil to The Arsenal!!! Beat Chel$ki!!! COYF'n'G!!!

And now a little message for all Chel$ki fans, including one of my favorite musical artists and die-hard Chel$ki fan, Paul Hardcastle, courtesy of Road Dogg and "The One" Billy Gunn of the New Age Outlaws: :)

Just about to hit the sheets to get some much-needed zzzzzz's, so I can be ready to watch the match (NBCSN BPL Live is on at 4:00 am PST) at 4:45 am PDT, BTW my pre-match MOTM provided he is still in world class form (as he always is) and ready to stick it to his old club who pretty much left him for dead in favor of Courtois, is (and will be) Petr Cech. Goodnight everyone!!! :)

Of course, I'll counter by saying the difference is that Spurs are inept and can't attract talent. We have our flaws but Chelsea are using their financial clout to be better than us. At the same time, does the money argument really hold water? Allegedly, we have an ungodly amount in the bank—maybe we are spurs to them and can't attract the talent we need.

    Now I'm depressed. :D
