Hmmm maybe...There's Makelele invisibility and just invisible. I think Sidwell is the latter. Blackburn has not threatened us, it's ok for him to move up a bit and become a little more involved. But as srd... has pointed out....he's just being owned by Robbie
Considering the possesion we've had, and the speed with which we recover the ball when we do lose it, there's no need to sub the ginger lad. SWP is playing more or less as a fullback; get the ball, carry it forward, give it to Belletti. we're playing well, all we need is for someone to beat Freidel.
Thanks a lot nice. Sidwell is terrible. I can not see why we'd by him instead of a Daniel Carvalho or even an Elano or Dudu. He doesn't add anything and he doesn't have the typical english bite or snarl in the tackle. Nothing. People talked about Ballack waltzing around. I'm not sure what Sidwell is doing. If he had a good pass or shot on him then it could be a bit more forgivable but the guy played for Reading. Why not by a young midfielder with ability. An attacking player or a 24 like the 3 above. Silly purchase. Bench Mikel and halt his development for this fellow? I think another long benchwarming period is in session for Sidwell. Oh and if Mikel comes on his should take corners.
Sheva keeps looking at the bench all the time. I don't like it one bit. Players need to play relaxed and not worry about what their manager might think at the moment. Sheva needs to clear his head.
Speed kills or so we have been told but when that is all you have in the case of Kalou and SWP its more detrimental than anything
