Taintor to miss while serving red card suspension. Pre-game stats: It's hard to get a read on LV by looking at the numbers. Their passing and dribbling stats are anemic, perhaps even abysmal. Maybe they apply high pressure to take possession in the opponents half, a strategy we've seen deployed against us quite a bit this season, IMO. A key to the game may be for us to take care of the ball in the back and counter attack effectively. Perhaps Matjasic is available and that he provides the midfield link we've needed between the back and front lines.
1. Footy on baseball fields sucks big, giant donkey balls. I swear that field was 90x45. Okay, maybe a little wider than that. 2. Ya wanna know why LVLFC has 20 bookings over five matches? Look to their sideline - their coach is borderline psycho. 3. SRFC was by far the better team in the second half. 4. Nice to see Ochoa's doing the same old crap as he was last year. Even nicer to see that he isn't wearing Old Glory Red any more whilst doing the same old crap. 5. Buckle's team last year finds a way to lose this game. On the TV broadcast, Goldie noted this team is scrappy, and I think that's largely the case. 6. Now on 11 points from 5 matches, but not quite passing the smell test. Eh. First soccer world problems, right?

Not that we played badly, but that was a game we should have won. That was a poor goal to give up, but otherwise: The backline, absent all four starters (assuming Hord is a starter) held up reasonably well. Too many missed connections going forward. Hopefully, we can get on the same page. Nice goal by Eissele. Good game from Moffat playing further up the field. Freddy A-who?
