On our upcoming match with Bremen, if I remember correctly, Bremen have nine guys on international duty this week while we have seven. Luckily for us, most of our guys will be right here in Europe, so unless there are new injuries after Frei's, there should not be much of a problem. The only guys we have who will do "hard traveling" and only arrive back on Thursday are Valdez (Paraguay) and Buckley (South Africa). I think this will just make it even more likely that our two strikers against Bremen will be Klimowicz and Petric. If I had my guess, our lineup will be: ============================Ziegler==================================== ====Degen===========Brzenska=============Woerns==========*Dede/Kruska=== ============================Tinga==================================== =========**Kuba===================================Kringe============== =============================Federico================================= ===============Petric=============================Klimowicz============= *= If Dede isn't fit enough to play after his slight muscle tear suffered in the Rostock match, we should see Kruska here. **= Kuba reportedly played very well for Poland against Portugal on Saturday evening! ------------------------- Bremen also has eight of their players out injured, including their new future star, young Austrian striker Martin Harnik. For the match against us, they should surely be missing Harnik, Torsten Frings, Tim Borowski, and Aaron Hunt. Defender Clemens Fritz will undergo a stress test today (Monday) to determine his fitness. Fellow defender Patrick Owomoyela will test his thigh injury in training for them today, while another defender, Pierre Wome, might start training again at mid-week. Striker Boubacar Sanogo should also train with them again this week. I think of those players, Sanogo is the one who will most likely start against us. As far as traveling Brazil players, Diego's match with Brazil against Mexico will not end before the wee hours of Thursday morning here in Europe. Then, he has to fly back here and be ready to face us on Friday night. I think the Brazilian coach will either let Diego go or only play him in the first half of that match. I think we really won't know much more before Thursday morning here in Europe.
