Ugh. That hurt. We need to shoot more, I think. But we played a great game and kept it up until the end.

We had the cards stacked against us this WC -- but we still showed up and kicked ass. Very proud of this team and this coach right now.

Yes!! After the 2010 Ghana loss, I was really disappointed that we could not take advantage of momentum at the time regarding the national attention.
I was really hoping we could move past R16 to take advantage again with the phenomenal support we have this run. I'm sad we lost this one, but the feeling is much better then after 2010.
Good effort from the team against tough draw, travel and conditions. We will only get stronger from this point on.

Oh yeah, get over it Landy nuthuggers.

To be honest with you, as disappointed as I am to go out.... at least we went out fighting against the better team in one of the best games of the tournament... no shame in that. Congrats Belgium, and good effort US... the future is looking good with Yeldin, Gonzo, Green, etc... If we are going to go out, this was probably the best way.. as I said pushing a better team to the limits, rather than controversial refereeing decisions, diving, etc.... proud of the boys and looking forward to 2018 and Copa America 2016!

Darke's "Too many mistakes by the lake" was funny. (Cleveland is called "The Mistake by the Lake") I live in a Cleveland suburb.

Actually that would have been awesome. If we lost though really won I would have had something to laugh about. I am smiling about Brooks, Green, Yedlin, Future Bradley, Guzan, Fabian Johnson and Matt Besler though. Those guys have a ridiculously bright future.

    Well US eliminated..it sucks..
It sucks, part time fans are already saying "see you in 2018"..screw that, the games dont start at the World Cup...Ive been watching since qualifying for the last few years.. I watched the beating in Honduras, the Snow game, the heartbreak for Panama etc. etc...

Next cycle will be even better, we're going to reload...Yedlin, Nagbe, Junior, Green etc etc...

As for this WC, 1st priority is to finish wiping out these Euro teams off our continent...Costa Rica, Colombia, Brazil, Argentina do horrible things to them!!

This is going to sting for a little bit but I did like the fire we did have the last 15 minutes. The future is good…need to use this fire though.

At the end of the day, it was always going to be an uphill task facing a team from the Group of Suck that got to rest 7 starters while we were flying all over the continent for jungle death matches.

I'm amazed we found that something inside to make it a dramatic finish while the lightweights in red were praying for the whistle.

I respect your opinion. Yes, JK could have been a little more brave but I think he is still a good coach and he is one of US.

Sorry, I meant to reply to Cannons.

You don't like people pointing out one person.
I don't like being the one person that gets pointed out by people who don't like people pointing out one person especially when it's not true.

So we have a common thread but can't seem to intertwine it. Don't worry it, it's let go of. I just find it funny in a play by play thread you try and point things out by knee jerked reactions to things. But hey, it's fixed so theres that.
