Ok its the Gameday 4 Thread

Hamburg plays tomorrow so I don't know how they react next week, but we have a win and we should take the best out of it ...

    What do you think?

I think if I go by how we played on Saturday and how they played yesterday, we lose up there.

However, I thought we'd lose when we went up there last season and we kicked their asses, and this match is at home, so what do I know?? :D

HSV will be without Demel and Benjamin. Maybe VdV is still injured.

    LOL!! :D

Seeing that he's scored in all their matches this season, I'd say we're in trouble!

    Then again, NAH!!!

The break will cool him off!! ;)

I haven't been too convinved of Hamburg in their games thus far (CL qualifiers, Pokal, BL).
To me, they've scraped for many results. I think it's basically a half empty/half full deal to most Hamburg fans, anyway, but the way they have been playing I do not see why we wouldn't be able to take 1 pt.

HSV has three ties ... their defense is as shaky as ours ... don't forget that ..

It won't be for long. They've just bought an improvement.

I hope we will soon too.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying we are going to lose the match.

I'm just saying that from what I saw of both teams this past weekend, anything can happen.

That 3-1 scoreline for us was very flattering. A better team would have made us pay for our mistakes.

I think HSV are a better team than Stuttgart.

If we don't make those same mistakes, we can definitely win and most likely will.

The problem is, we always make those mistakes and I know Sanogo will make us pay at least once.........

I can live with one opponent's goal. We have to stop making so many mistakes though.

We also need to get someone better than Brzenska to play with Woerns.

That boy Brzenska has been sucking badly since near the end of last season...... :(

Shit. Hunemeier looked better in his one appearance against Bayern than Brzenska looks now.

We can't "judge" players on one match, just as we can't judge them when they have a few good matches in a row.

I said this last season when they were all talking about how "great" Brzenska looked after a couple of matches.

Did I not say back then that he did nothing to impress me and I couldn't see why the others were so excited??

    You're seeing that now.

IMHO, Markus Brzenska has pretty much been shit since the Hamburg match last season.

The point? Let's not just decide that Amedick is going to be "the one" based on one match.

Let's wait until later to see if Amedick can keep it up consistently.

We made that same mistake with Brzenska.

And we can't anymore spend Money for players we want or you want ... BVB did that, and we stood close to self destruct ... Meier/Niebaum allready had their hands on the red button. We don't need that again ...we ain't Spain/England/Italy .. we don't press money or fake money (like Real Madrid) to buy who we want when we want, and we don't have a russian Billionair behind us.

No one is saying after one Match Amedick is the man, but unlike Brenner Amedick was one of the best Defenders in League 2 ... almost no fouls and most One on One Fights won.

Dude, what the f#ck are you talking about? I think even Heiko Westermann would be an improvement.

    AND BVB ALREADY WANTS HIM!!!!

Where the f#ck did that bullshit come from?

If we want to make Europe THIS SEASON, we can't afford to wait for these guys to "develop". You lose points waiting for guys to develop.

I'm not saying never play Amedick. I'm saying you can't accept that he's "the man" because he had one good match.

If BVB takes some of this money and gets Westermann, I'll be happy.

Westermann isn't to replace Amedick or Brzenska, but to replace METZELDER!

Again, what the f#ck are you talking about??

Where did that bullshit come from?

You are not psychic. Don't try to respond to anything from anyone until they actually say it.

Westermann is not my "ideal guy" for BVB to bring in, but we can't afford the type we truly need and he's as close as we might be able to get to that type of guy for a good price.

Westermann is more experienced than both Amedick and Brzenska and really not that much older. I think we could work with him coming in to replace Metzelder should Metzelder leave and even if Metzelder doesn't leave, it gives us another central defensive option should something happen to Woerns or should Woerns decide to hang up his boots in the next couple of years or should BvM decide to put Brzenka's sorry ass back on the amateur team to work on his game.

In that case, yes, Westermann is better than many other options, who are older and more expensive.

I am not going to stop giving my opinion of what we need. However, giving my opinion and asking BVB to do it are two different f#cking things.

That's what you need to get through your head.

In closing, I'm not f#cking stupid. Don't sit there and assume I'm going to ask for something stupid. I'm not going to ask for BVB to go out and buy freakin' Nesta or someone like that. I know we can't afford that. I'm also not going to ask BVB to spend most or all of that 6M+ on one defender.

Again, I'm not f#cking stupid. Think before you send stupid shit like you did.

No you are not stupid, but you tend to let your passion drive you ... :) I've seen that more than once.

I am the same, and you critisize me for it, too,

I criticize you for it when you do it. I didn't do anything there.

Goddamn right my passion drives me. And these days, BVB is my passion.

History favours Bvb, but with sorin, Ljuboja, kirchstein and unfit vdv out of the team. Weidenfeller will have to at the best of his game to stop us

With Kirschstein we should score at least six times. ;-)
