We had it all, and we blew it. We are who we thought we were. They are who we thought they were, and we let them off the hook. Portering has become the new Tebowing. More blown leads than Band Hand. Everything is pain and despair. Our brave heroes have faltered, and with just one episode left until the SEASON FINALE, can our Crew overcome all odds and secure victory, or will Don Garber and his minions of E. V. I. L. triumph? Man, Robert Altman had a lot of stinkers (Pret-A-Porter was definitely one of them, sorry Cameron Diaz, I still love you). But he also had Three Women (a total ********in masterpiece) and The Long Goodbye (a masterpiece). Like our current manager he lives off a reputation of his very best moments that allows so many to forget/forgive his more numerous failures.
I was going to post something about this song earlier but didn't. I worked in a chain retail music store during this time period and... man... that song moved so many cassingles (remember those?) even after waiting to so long in order to move the full soundtrack at first.
The cassingles? No, no they don't die. Yes, they multiply! I honestly wouldn't be surprised if there is more than one of these in my attic.
If to be human is to be guaranteed 5 million dollars in spite of my litany of failures, and/or have endless financing for all my cinematic dreams, sign me up.... Just spare me the bare assed spankings from a Jim Curtin....
Lose by 2 is the only time we win. Just hope Portland does us a favor tonight. Would be nice to have a sliver of hope for Philly.
Philly was in NJ on Sunday. They're in SJ now. They'll leave Thursday AM and, I suspect, fly to Columbus instead of going home. That's a lot of miles and a lot of time changes. Lose by two.
Three road games in one week? Great job MLS! (Though I suppose a game at Red Bull Arena isn't exactly a tough road trip for Philly to make.)

There are still a few singles and even some sets of 3 on ticketmaster for this game, but the Crew have already started selling standing room only tickets. Big crowd, sell-out numbers, I would advise against arriving 10 minutes before kickoff. Expect longer lines than usual.
Since we are officially eliminated we are going to start playing like a world class championship team and start winning by 3 or more goals.
I’m fairly certain everyone is coming to celebrate my birthday with me. I appreciate that I can share it with my closest friends at a Crew game this year. Best present ever.
