Well, it's not like he shot or stabbed him, is it.

I mean, if he'd done THAT it might have been a red card. Well... maybe a yellow... or a strong talking to at least.

Chelsea player gets shot then stabbed, ref checks VAR, play on.

    Some consistency, all I ask.

If he had broken Azpi's leg, it would have been a red. It is not the technology but the refs who need replacing. How are they not held accountable?

Interesting point. VAR obviously doesn't compensate for garbage officials.

Thank GOD. Well done Frank and team.

Must say.. we looked a lot less solid when Giroud came off.

Not good enough. The person in charge should be fired.

Yeah if Harry Maquire was in the crowd he could have run on and stamped on him too. To protect himself y'know. . . .

I never thought I would dislike something in football as much as sp*rs but V*R is right up there.

Just change the name of the system to RNG and be honest about it.

Unlucky own goal gave Spurs a goal that they really did not deserve. We defended well today, apart from Alonso. Alonso is not really interested in defending, but he likes to score goals and he almost had two today, that was some free-kick against the bar.

I like the spirit we showed in this game and the discipline in our shape. How good is Reece James? So happy with the simple strength and composure he has. Mason Mount pressed and chased everything. Giroud is a proper striker. MOTM.
He gets an opportunity and he takes it and he shoots and he gets it on target.

Interesting stats we had 17 shots to their 5 and in possession they had 51%. But we always looked more dangerous. When Jose came back with United I really didn't like him, now with Spurs, I really do not care about Jose, his tactics are 10 years ago.

On Tooseday we have the Germanz. Who knows right? I mean, we are not supposed to win.

I think Christensen is just playing well. It is nice to have some strength in-depth.

I wonder what Sarri would make of it eh.

VAR is fine, the referees are the problem. I can appreciate Oliver didn't seenit, but VAR is there to catch it. Problem is it's the same stupid ********s who miss shit on the pitch then miss it when looking at the incident 45 times and lack the fortitude to make the correct call. 2 times in 5 days we've been ********ed by the absolutely poor officiating in this league and this almost cost us.

How that wasn't given as a red is beyond belief and this, 'Well, at least they admitted their mistake', crap makes it worse, IMO

Totally disagree with you on this one, the defense looks more calm and assured without him.

Great result always good to beat the spuds.

My main beef with Frank was not playing Giroud more.

Admittedly he was awful when he played against West Ham in November but he deserved a second chance.
