Cam Iwasa sighting? I don't know if he's been playing lately, but he does have six starts in 17 appearances. Two goals.

This is a bad news-good news-bad news kind of game.

    Bad news: We're really short-handed
Bad news: Especially on defense, with both Christian and Hall serving a suspension for yellow card accumulation.
Bad news: We have 18 healthy bodies over the age of 16 (assuming Moffat and Berrara are still out).
Good news: We'll probably see Carlos Rodriguez. Maybe.
Bad news: Our game day 18 will likely consist of 2 'keepers and nine forwards who can't score.
Good news: Ha! Just kidding! Not even John Doyle would put together that kind of roster!
Bad news: Or, NOT! It's true. Two 'keepers and nine forwards who can't score.
Bad news: The "Park Rangers" (kudos @QuietType) are pretty good.

It's all good, they always make me look foolish after a negative rant.

    Knock-on-wood.

I forgot about the Park Rangers!

We will have to apply some budget cuts to lay them off from their... park service jobs..

    Yeah I got nothing.

Will be strange if Iwasa is back here with them. I saw some video the Republic put out on Good Day Sacramento interviewing new player Weisenfarth that he and Iwasa are close friends.

Likewise I'm really curious what kind of lineup and formation we use tonight... Sadly I don't think there will be many in attendance, the Murph is going to look empty I'd wager.

Woof, that was rough... Someone has to tell the guys and Buckle we don't have the personnel to play crosses into the box as our strategy.

A point is good but we really need to score goals at will If we want to challenge this year. Poor mistakes defensively and by Newton this match.

They called this game a sellout. Republic is getting pretty loose with this. Definitely paper attendance last night, since the stadium was about 2/3 full at best.

I know the club has been stuck in neutral with the MLS soap opera dragging into its fourth year, but their marketing/ advertising has really fallen off.

They are really anticipating a surge for next season STH when the MLS news starts leaking out. Doesn't do much for this season unfortunately.
