Someone correct me if I have selective memory, but Ochoa's distribution has been pretty good, and he shows the power of a younger leg in how far and how hard he boots it out.
Those used to be my very favorite play to make. Of course, not being overtaken from behind and having it stolen back makes it less cool on the whole.
This is really fun....but does it mean I have to spill coffee on my laptop at the beginning of every game now?
So one of the things apparently communicated at the supporter's meeting this week was that the team was thinking about leaning into the Ochoa/Minnesota United controversy last week by having him punt a signed ball into the stands at the end of a home tie or win. I love this idea. It's hilarious. I hope it happens.
That's a nice cross from Brody - he put his hands to his head like he missed it, when I think the run was what was mistimed.
Rusnak's dead ball restarts have been garbage today. Who is d-mid since Ruiz went out? He wasn't one of my guesses when the double sub happened. Also: hilarious that Chang got a yellow for time wasting fifteen seconds after coming onto the field.
I wonder if the next FIFA version should include Rusnak's signature move: a stop on the ball that gets him run over from behind for a foul. If not that perhaps a corner kick that clears everyone in the box and goes out the other side.
Yellows have been a bit wtf. Several potential MotM in Dami, Rub, Ruiz, Brody. RSL looks like a solid middle third MLS side. If we can shore up the back and the middle - who knows. We have solid attacking depth e.g. Meram. I watched Portland in the CCL. I have no illusions. The Timbers are on another level. They were better than America.
