Matchday 2, August 20, 2017: Tottenham Hotspur vs. Chelsea FC

I am pretty much resigned to a loss. I am just hoping it does not get embarrassing.

 

I have to say I will take a point right now! I am going away for a few days and will probably miss this game...........I have to say I am not sure if I could bring myself to watch it anyway!

Bakayoko and Morata start. As does Christensen! Looks like we might try to pack the midfield.

 

Moses is back, so we have our wing backs. I wouldn't be so negative.

 

NBC has us lining up in a 3-5-2? With Christensen in the midfield? Makes more sense to put Bob there but who knows. Hoping Baka is fit. It makes little sense to rush him back from injury just to get him injured again.

 

Christensen in midfield? With Baka??? Oh man

 

Dave is playing wingback again and Moses has been moved higher up the field.

 

Christensen makes more sense if you want an anchor - Bob tends to roam.

As for the formation, think Italy at the Euros.

 

Is that right? If so, I hate that.

I have extremely low expectations for this match but it might be fun to see us play with 11 players.

I think we should just give the ball to the opposition when we have corners to save time
