Argies coming very close. Almost all of the action is in the Ecuador half. However, as usual under Bielsa, Argentina can do everything but finish.
Sloppy for the first 25 minutes. Ecuador pushed for about the next 10 but couldn't get the ball into scoring position. Argentina responded and looked much better in the last 10 of the half. Had a few rushes and a penalty kick in the Ecuadorian end but couldn't put the ball on goal.

Argentina started the first 15 minutes with complete control of the game, and pressing in offense. Could had scored at least one or two more goals. But ... they didn't manage to score a 2nd, and this could be extremely dangerous. Wouldn't be the first time they have 'foregiven" life to the opponent team to end up losing points. Saviola needs to score to regain confidence. He is normally a hungry forward, not tonite. Argentina is playing with confidence, but until they put away the game, they aren't doing the job. Delgado has been terrible. Gonzales the MoM IMO.
