Tue, May 13 Inter v. Milan If you pick a draw (by any score), also pick who will advance after ET/PKs. Wed, May 14 Juventus v. Madrid If you pick a Juve win (by any score), also pick who will advance after ET/PKs. 10 points for correct result, 15 points for correct score. If you pick the correct result OR score and the games goes Extra Time or to Penalties and you ALSO correctly pick the advancing team, you get a 10 point BONUS. A couple examples should illustrate this... Joe picks Milan 0-0 Inter (Milan adv) Bob picks Milan 1-1 Inter (Milan adv) If the actual score winds up 0-0 and Milan advances AET, then Joe earns 25 points on the game and Bob earns 20. If the actual score winds up 1-1, then no extra time is played, Inter would advance on the "away" goal. Joe would earn 10 points and Bob would earn 15.

Re: Re: MATCHDAY 16: Champions League Predictions [R] Tue, May 13 Inter v. Milan 0-2(milan) Wed, May 14 Juventus v. Madrid 1-0(juve)
Tue, May 13 Inter 1-0 Milan (Inter advance) Wed, May 14 Juventus 1-0 Madrid (Juventus to advance on away goals)
Here are my picks. Inter - Milan 1-2 (Milan goes through to the final thanks to goals from Inzaghi and Tommason, Vieri scores for Inter and Recoba also scores was is ruled offside). Juve - R. Madrid 2-1 (Juve go through to the final thanks to goals from Di Vaio and Del Piero, Morientes scores for Madrid).
Tue, May 13 Inter 0 v. 1 Milan Wed, May 14 Juventus 3 v. 1 Madrid (Should ET/PK's be required, Madrid will go through)
I don't quite understand this. Isn't Inter the home team for this game? So If they were to draw 1-1, or draw with any amount of goals, wouldn't Milan advance automatically because of away goals? Or are you saying to pick who would advance if you predict a score-less draw? Because in a draw with goals Milan would advance, no? Or am I wrong here?
Re: Re: MATCHDAY 16: Champions League Predictions [R] You are correct that IF the score winds up 1-1, there would be no extra time. Milan would advance. However, if you get the correct result, but not the correct score, you'd still be eligible for the AET/PK bonus. So you predict 1-1, but the score winds up 0-0. They have to play ET and possible do PKs. The logic might be this -- "I think there will be goals, so I'll predict 1-1, which would mean Milan will advance. However, should Inter hold them scoreless, I think they'll prevail in PKs (or AET) because they'll have their home crowd juicing them up."
The following individuals have predicted a result that COULD (given a different score) require ET/PKs. If you want to be eligible for the ET/PK bonus, please predict an advancing team. jd6885 -- Juve v. Madrid gildarkevin -- Juve v. Madrid
Re: Re: MATCHDAY 16: Champions League Predictions [R] Tuesday, May Thirteenth Two Thousand and Three Inter v. Milan 2-1 (Internazionale F.C. advance) Wednesday, May Fourteenth Two Thousand and Three Juventus v. Madrid 1-1 (Real Madrid advance)
At halftime Inter 0-1 Milan The Milan goal means that there will not be any extra time in this one. It also means that Inter now has to score twice to advance -- so the 2nd half should be fun to watch.
Ended 1-1. AC Milan advances... http://www.uefa.com/competitions/UCL/fixturesresults/round=1639/match=1044118/Report=RP.html Whoever had those picks, good onya...
Tuesday's Results Only 2 people predicted the draw yesterday and both did it with the correct score. Brihodge & KiQuE both predicted 1-1 draws. I'll post the standings after today's game.
