This game has the potential to be either pretty entertaining or absolutely dreadful. http://www.itv.com/news/671902.html Glad to see Gardner back after his England callup. When Judas C*mpbell got his first callup a few years ago that was really the making of him as a defender, he went from promising but a little erratic to a top player. It's a real eye-opener for a young player and hopefully will keep Tony improving. Team I expect to see: Keller - Taricco Gardner Richards Carr - Konchesky King Anderton Dalmat - Keane Postiga
2 - 1 A come from behind win. Some good passing football at times, unfortunately Postiga just can't buy a goal right now and looks short of confidence. Fortunately we can't say the same thing for Rohan Ricketts, he is fabulous at cutting in and shooting with his right foot, he scored his goal that way today and I've seen him do it a few times now. He's got a great strike on him. We'll be a lot better with Davies and Kanoute in the side, much more of a cutting edge. Nice to know that we've got the character now to come from behind to get a result, a few months ago we'd have folded and lost the game.
What a sh!t game. At least we won, both teams were dreadful. What was Keller doing at the end? Letting a ball bounce in your 6 yard box is criminal.
Keller made a great save from Carr though, that was a real nervy moment. He didn't have much chance with the goal, a real looping header and I'm not convinced Allback meant for it to go in that far corner. http://www.spurscommunity.co.uk/mod...=article&sid=1352&mode=nested&order=0&thold=0 Here are some player ratings, subjective of course. I think things will be very interesting not only when we get the KAK partnership back up front, but also get Davies back in the team on the right side. That then lets Dalmat move left and Konch move to left back. Having Simon and Dalmat on the flanks will give us so much creativity and threat, with them supplying the service to KAK I can certainly see some bright attacking days ahead. Add Ricketts into the middle as a sub for Anderton late on in the game or if we need goals, and we've got some good firepower. The defence is also looking pretty good, they just need to learn to keep their concentration, that's what lets them down at times, particularly the centre backs. They have everything else, pace, strength and timing, but just need to keep the mental side at a high level for 90 minutes.
Necessary result. Not a good game, but a decent result. been unlucky last couple of games, about time we got some.
