....interesting game.....who knew that Muhammed Ali's "rope-a-dope" could be successful in soccer?

Bad stat of the match: SRFC was outshot 23-6

Good stat of the match: we scored 3 goals on 6 shots

Best stat of the match: SRFC just beat one of the hottest teams in the West and are now tied for 2nd.

That was a pleasant surprise. During the first half, I would not have guessed we'd give up fewer than two goals. Great counter-attacking tonight.

I've never seen a team get out-Corsi'd like that and come away with a multi-goal victory since...
    . . .
    . . .
...well, probably when it was done to us by Portland in April of 17.

Ugly win is win nevertheless. Never like watching your team park the bus against a team with the offensive quality of Phoenix.

Yeah, that assist was terrific. All three were, really. The last one from Bijev, springing Kneeshaw while he was still in the defensive half, was heads-up by both of them.
