Only saw Endler out of those, and I liked her vs the US (mostly the 2nd half). As a coach for the past 20 years though, I always think about the mistakes (such as her positioning on the US first goal and her failure to parry away the 2nd). I think the women are easier to spot the mistakes since they don't have nearly the athleticism to make up for it like the men do. That is probably part of my problem though.
By the way, we have a women's goalkeeping thread, here on BigSoccer, that I just updated. I wanted to keep updating the old thread in women's international, instead of opening a new one in the World Cup subforum, but maybe, with the tournament going on, it could be worth having a separated discussion about WWC goalkeeping here too.
Blerg. That was a dud. Agree with other posters that 16 out of 24 is tooooo many. Only the worst of the worst fail to advance. Drama killer.
