Ooh, that's a nice design (From https://www.graemehelliwell.co.uk/UEFA-Women-s-EURO-Programme / Archive) The 2019 WWC programme is pretty good too, I'd buy it for... $15?? Forget that! (From BuySoccerCardsOnline.com / Archive)
When it comes to the Champions League women's final programme, UEFA have got a design, and they're sticking with it... - (manygameshaveiseen blog) - (stagofherts) - (m60footballprogrammes.com) - (lt-footballprogrammes.co.uk) Were you there in 2016, @blissett? A momentous night for programme design, a radical departure from the norm... £12.50 collectors' item?! It doesn't even show the trophy!
I was there but I don't have any match programme. Although I still have the (paper) ticket and some photos taken pre-match.
Gaah! I would've paid you a premium price (£12.75) for that programme. For CL finals, this was 2018's and 2019's: Based on the ones above, I guess it'll have a trophy (again), but UPSIDE DOWN because the world's gone topsy-turvy Of course, the main reason for programmes is info for the fans on matchday - but I wonder how the closed-door games are affecting the programme 'biz'? Do they still make one and print some out for whoever's there? guests, dignitaries, etc. Maybe the rare programmes for football games this year will be very collectible.
2020/21 - happily there are still lots of programmes to read this season, but mostly digital ones, because fans were unable to attend. This is from Northern Ireland's historic win against Ukraine today: https://www.irishfa.com/news/2021/april/digital-programme-for-play-off-against-ukraine The game with Barcelona didn't end well for Manchester City, but their programme was a cool one, fully digital - instead of pages to turn, a page to scroll through. https://www.mancity.com/features/city-v-barcelona-match-prog/ (Archive) - (www.CPFC.co.uk) This year's hundreds of matchday programme pages are online, including the striking Crystal Palace design above. There's one at Aston Villa too, but they aren't sounding confident about their relegation battle
Sorry for the delay, @Klingo3034! These front pages feel like something they've done before but inside is where the real goodies are found: - (footballprogrammes.co.uk) - (european-nights.com) - (footballprogrammes.com) - (european-nights.com)
I have hundred of UK match programs that will get binned once I move back to France after the Summer, if someone is interested in getting them.
Someone will be interested, for sure - you've got a unique piece of history there. Having looked around, I wish there were a place that could simply take a collection like yours off your hands. Collecting them is still a big pastime, but they're mainly buying and selling; they don't expect just to get them for free! The best UK dealer I saw has an amazing lot of women's programmes, maybe some of the same ones you have, but they're up North.
