Hi, everybody. I have some good friends travelling to Italy, specifically Rome and the Tuscan Region over these dates, and although I know about the Roma v. Empoli game in Rome on 4/25 from another thread, I was wondering if anybody had any information on any games in the Tuscany area over these dates. any help is much appreciated, as I am having a hard time finding any lists of fixtures on the net. Thanks in advance.
I would suggest a short trip to either Siena or Perugia (in Umbria), but unfortunately both teams are on the road 4/25. Both cities are worth visiting even without the games by the way. Actually, Siena is at Bologna which really isn't that far. If you are set on seeing a game in Tuscany, check out Fiorentina hosting Messina on 4/24. Sure it's Serie B, but it's a promotion battle. Messina is currently 2nd in Serie B and Fiorentina is not far behind. Because of the Catania fiasco(?), five teams from Serie B could be promoted next year. Given the options, this is definitely the game I'd go to. Also you might check for teams in Pisa, or Lucca. As far as I can tell these teams would be Serie C at best.
