Hopefully we can sneak a 1-0 win with Muhanad Ali scoring. Will it make much difference coming 1st or 2nd ? We will face either Qatar or Saudi ?

If we finish first i believe we’ll be playing a 3rd place team from B/E/F.

I'm proud. Just a week ago we struggled to get the win against Vietnam.
We have 6 days of rest now. I'm confident we can do something. Let's go Iraq!

Its not bad result. Just dont understand why we didn't attack more to try get a win, we had nothing to lose even if we lost the game we still would of finished 2nd.

Losing that game would be bad for our morale. We are heading into the R16 match knowing that we tied with one of the strongest Asian teams. That's a positive.

Lol I expected big loss against Iran but now I see a lot of potential. It sucks that the new coach did not have much time to manage this team.. I think that was the reason why we did mistakes in vietnam game but Iraq is learning very fast which is good sign. We also lost good players like Ismael, Mohannad Abdul-Raheem... Our 23 olympic team was amazing.

We have much better strikers now in the team. Dawood, Alaa Abbas and Mimi are younger and have more potential.
