Booing because Toledo whistled the end of the half when we had a promising attack going. Herrera and PabloM went bat**** crazy for the same reason. Herrera got a yellow.

 

Jony’s touch to set up Kreilach was amazing. A shame K couldn’t keep it on frame.

 

Bummer that exchange resulted in a high shot rather than something on goal.

Rally weird touch from the Dallas GK - how Rusnak's shot spun back across him and off the post/in I am unclear. Once again, though, good ball movement and taking advantage of Dallas's sloppiness.

 

Another great play from Jony. For the first time in a long time RSL has looked like they still want to score after getting a goal up.

 

Really think Albert should shoot more, not be so hesitant.. He keeps them on frame with lots of power. You see what happens when he does that.

 

Curious to see what changes Pablo makes. Or doesn’t. I would be nervous to touch anything right now but fitness concerns.

 

What a poor decision for Ruiz to shoot there, after he was closed down and the angle was gone - and Rusnak was open out wide.

The Ferreira goal was glorious. Beautiful.

 

You can attribute most goals to a defensive mistake but Ferreras goal was pure offensive class.

 

Besler replaces Ruiz in an attempt to end the simple giveaways in midfield, immediately commits a simple giveaway in midfield.

 

Can’t believe I’m relieved to see Besler on for Ruiz.

 

Good job RSL. Mastroeni can just leave now.

 

We got a bit lucky there as Noah Powder made a terrible decision that essentially left three guys open on his side. Fortunately Ferreira shot instead of passing because they were in there.

Good win.

 

Powder was terrible in extra time. In retrospect he probably should’ve been subbed out. Besler did well after his initial give away. We were unlucky not to have put up 5 goals .

 

I was nervous after the second Dallas goal but we survived. Well done RSL!

 

A win feels good .

 

He was terrible defensively the entire game. Just got exposed a little more late. Ferreira goal happened on his side, and he was literally standing around midfield. Albert's yellow came as a result of him being caught way upfield on opposite side of ball leaving Albert to clean up for him.

He may be great offensively, but he's not going to work as a left back unless he figures that out. When does Brody get back?

 

And this tweet...wonder if the two are related? If so, that happened quick. Maybe in the works before Freddy chose to leave?
