So I have to admit that I could not be happier that Freddy is gone. The way that he left and all of the speculation around how and when the deal went down and leaving the team in the rather unceremonious way really has to put a damper on the Freddy love. If Dunny is throwing shade you know there is a lot we're not privy too that went on behind the scenes.

With Freddy gone I actually want RSL to make a decent run and make the playoffs. If they don't, after they were over the playoff line when he ditched the team, it will only make him look better if they don't make the playoffs which isn't cool. The team deserves better after the way he left. He shouldn't get any benefit of the doubt. Glad he's gone.

On Saturday I'm hoping to see a team that is ready to put a run together and show that they want to be the story at the end of the season and not the coaching staff, owner, etc. The story should be how the team rallied and finished strong.

Is Pablo the answer. I would say unequivocally no. Could that change? Heck ya. Do I expect it to? Nope.

I will be there and will actually cheer instead of what I was doing during previous games, which was not much. No way I could cheer for the team with what's his name but now I can.

Dallas will be without 4 players for the FIFA window while our "amazing roster" will be *checks notes* missing nobody due to international duty. Huh. ok.

    Anyways

This has to be a must win. Not just for the interim manager but the players and club as a whole. A loss here and it feels like we could go into a serious tailspin with the upcoming schedule. The Soapbox podcast made a good point about how unclear the injury report is for RSL. Ochoa, for example, hasn't played for 8(?) games now, and that was sold as a few games thing, tops. It appears there is family matters there, but again, the club's lack of transparency makes it hard to know what the hell is going on.

With that said, I expect we'll look like this:

    Rubin
    Rusnak Kreilach Menedez
    Ruiz Besler
    Toia Glad Datkovic Herrera
    Putna

Wood is out at least a few more games with the hamstring injury
I have no idea how the interim manager will handle the middle 5
Also don't know if the back 4 are accurate. Is Herrera ok to go? Toia over Morgan? Does the Glad slight stop with the interim manager?
Also, can anyone else play gk besides Putna? Could we play the kid from Herriman? Please?

I'm torn on whether I want us to finish the season on a high note or not. If we play well and make the playoffs, we might stupidly keep Pablo as head coach and continue the mediocrity. If we crash and burn, we're all but guaranteed to get someone else as head coach.

This season has been rough. But making something out of it after everything that has gone on would be a big W. We will be underdogs the rest of the way so it could make for a good story. I still like several of the players and wish them to succeed. They play for each other now more than ever.

It’s certainly easy to think about what results in the stretch mean for coaching situation, ownership, future personnel decisions, etc…. It’s been quite a year. But Duckerman has it right. Just wanna put the drama behind, play tough fun football and win.

    Agreed.

    And, unfortunately, agreed.

I am interested that he's who kept his spot at outside back after last week.

For the second game in a row, Ruiz looks angry, slow, and turnover prone.

It's the angry part that's new this season since his play has been pretty poor all season.

Simple turnover from Silva -> defense out of position -> goal Dallas.

Ruiz has no idea where opponents are if they are not directly in front of him.

I am watching the stream on KSL - Dunny just said they've interviewed a coaching candidate, in person on the East Coast over three days this week. Kreis?

So, you got your Twitter 'broadcast'. You got your cast to Roku via Apple Air Play. So, you got your way to watch the game, although with more or less continual video hiccups. I've got the English language version of the Univision broadcast.

Took me way too long to be able to watch the Twitter stream via my Chromecast. Had to download a browser app and type in the whole web address. And I still don't get to hear the RSL feed. Ugh.

As to the game. Really hoping that RSL has a chance with Dallas missing 4 guys. Iloski better get a good run tonight. Julio and Chang are about the only other obvious subs. I'm sure we'll see Besler, too

    Big goal by glad.

Everton is done I can smell the burnt toast from my house tonight. Tired of both Ruiz and Luiz and their terrible play this season.

Add in Silva and that’s soon pretty weak sauce back there.

Right back to center back. Let’s hope that inspires our intended goal scorers. Although the real problem tonight has been soft turnovers in the middle. Happy for Glad.

Also, if Ochoa is healthy, why isn't he starting? Putna hasn't done anything to keep the starting spot.

Herrera with the ridiculous yellow at half time.

Dunny earlier shifting “blame” away from Freddy, Pablo, owner situation to the playmakers not performing on the pitch.

Herrera proving his point. Gets to sit next week. Just pathetic.
