this looks like the type of game in which one team dominates but it's 0-0 at halftime, and then, 5 minutes into the second half the other team scores. I'm having a Deja Vu watching this game

Yup. Seems that scrum in the box where Morocco didn't score lifted Iran.

Time to press higher. Morocco lost its initial momentum.

No scoring, but all attack. So exciting?

morocco have started in full force, hammering the Iranian box for 20-25 minutes straight, missed a few good chances. After minute 25 Iranians have balanced the game. Good paced game with bad finishes but entertaining nonetheless

Get the sense that now that Iran have whethered the Morocco storm, they will win.

Well, apart from goals, that was not a bad half. But, If Morocco can get the final ball in, I think they'll score. Still, I think Iran are just a bit better, and I think they'll pull it out.

I reallt hope there is a winner. Otherwise both Spain and Portugal are guaranteed to go through.

This is a really good game. Good aggression from both sides.

how about both games today end in a draw, then portugal ties both of them again? This is the scenario that seems most plausible to me for this group

If Morocco keeps attacking and doesn’t score, Iran might score first...

That's exactly what Iran went for. Tie somehow the first half. Now if they survive the first 15 minutes of the second half they will go more attack and might score the winner.

Morocco plays ball while Iran plays football. Iran has this one in the bag.

Isn't that how such things work? If one team doesn't score first, then the other team might score first. ;)

Morocco dominates up until they reach the opposite goal, the Iranian team is the opposite. Morocco seems more wasteful. Iran could score two goals at the end of first half.
