What?! He is absolutely a garbage striker. He makes his teammates weaker with his off the ball movement, his incompetence on the ball, his weak hold up play... I'm starting to think you don't understand what a striker in 2020 is supposed to be doing... Milik should adjust to the team, the team shouldn't adjust to him, therefore he needs to go. We need a different type, milik is too stationary

The players around him are trash. They couldn't score with a beachball against a side of the barn. He's not elite by far, but he's not the biggest garbage out there. You don't watch Insigne run into a crowd? Or maybe a Callejon useles cross or a pass to nobody? A vintage Mertens field goal? The midifielders can't initiate anything, and give the ball away cheaply numerous times a game. The trash is everywhere on the pitch.

Insigne is forced to run in to a crowd because milik is not offering himself as a passing option, twice insigne did great things and then passed the ball in the space in front of the Lazio CB where a good st would be. Don't you see how immobile traverses and isn't just locked in at number 9? Playing with milik (unless he has the ball in the box) is exactly like being 10 men, with and without the ball. I understand your point, milik has a good goal ratio - however we almost never win when he plays. Didn't you see how well we played when Mertens came on for Milik? (under Gattuso) We were playing like a top team. Too bad mertens is leaving now. Milik also misses too many opportunities because he is both a limited (1 footed) and average finisher. And our players aren't garbage, it's just that so many of them are overrated and don't perform consistently, take zielinski as an example, what warrants him playing that number 8 position? Fabian was the one to force Hamsik to leave the club, zielinski is just an eternity talent, who have been given far too many chances. The last 2 games every goal has been from direct individual errors.
