Guys, it's DERBY TIME again!! As we know, the teams prepared last week with BVB fighting back from two goals down to earn a point in Duisburg. We nearly stole the match, but Duisburg keeper Sven Beuckert made two point-blank saves against Alexander Frei to save the point for Duisburg.

Schalke prepared by f#cking dismantling defending Bundesliga Champions VfB Stuttgart 4-1 in Gelsenkirchen.

Like that glorious 12th day of May in 2007, BVB is going into this match having no freakin' business thinking we can win.

But we did then and we will sure as hell try to now. I saw something in that team with Frei, Petric and Federico on the pitch.

Other BVB fans won't like me saying this, but yes, Schalke is the better team right now and this will be a monumental task for our team.

But, as we proved last May, the better team doesn't always win.......

I kind of hate that they have all these big games on one day, as I really wanted to watch this one as well.

Blame Ziegler for it, not Amedick.....

Updates are going to the list.

    I'm there dude...

but why was it Ziegler's fault? Amedick should not have headed it in and just let it go out, or at least done a better job at heading it out, rather into an nearly impossible corner of the net...

Schalke regaining control of the matche's pace yet BvB still shows some sparks of fast counter's...it's getting rough and physical out there.

To me, any one could score a 3rd at this point!

Wrong again. We just got beaten by a better trained and better coached team.

Our guys played their f#cking asses off yesterday and had stupid f#cking Dede not gotten his dumb ass sent off, we would have had at least the draw!

If our guys continue to play the way we played yesterday, we will win a hell of a lot more matches!

I am not upset with our team. They gave it all they had and in the end, I think that red card cost us the draw.

We fought hard and never gave up. In my opinion, the problem is the same we had with Matthias Sammer.

We play the same f#cking formation, the same f#cking game every time. Our team goes into every match a bit "behind" because the other team knows what the f#ck we are going to do and they prepare to counter our only two tactics well.

Doll needs to teach the team something other than a f#cking 4-4-2 with diamond or double-six. With the weapons we have, we should be playing a 4-3-3, but I doubt idiot Doll can teach them a third formation and how to switch between the three......

Doll just made a f#cking idiot of himself on Premiere again bitching about a call that went against us again. All he does is bitch and complain after we lose. I am sick of that bullshit already. What kind of example is that for the players? TEACH THEM BETTER!!!

I am not mad at the team. Mad that we lost, but not mad at the team. The team fought their hearts out. Sure, we gave the ball away entirely too easily in midfield and defense nearly the entire match, but the team made up for that with their fight. We were hindered by the injury losses of Klimowicz and Ziegler, although, they may have truly been blessings in disguise.

People will point their fingers harder at Amedick for the first two Schalke goals, but in my opinion, Ziegler is more to blame for both. On the first one, even after Amedick lost the ball, he'd gotten back to try to make a play on Asamoah and he would have been on time, had Ziegler stayed closer to the net and made Asamoah come to him instead of going all the way out and missing Asamoah completely, leaving Asamoah a wide open net to fire on. Then he had the nerve to tell Amedick what he should have done on the play.

On the own goal, Ziegler does indeed shuffle his feet, but does not take command of a ball in HIS AREA. If you can see the replays, Amedick looks almost shocked when he sees the ball coming at him. Nearly like a deer in headlights. That play could have been prevented by Ziegler simply stepping out and catching the ball. He simply stood there staring at Amedick.

It just doesn't help when they begin every match tactically "behind" because their sorry ass coach only seems to know two formations.

I am already fed up with this sorry SOB Doll.

I cannot believe they extended this sorry mother f#cker.

We lost due to a cool and calculating Schalke squad taking advantage of our mistakes. The biggest ones made by Amedick and Ziegler leading to the first two Schalke goals. But it was not just them. Our midfield especially was guilty of silly giveaways the entire evening. We fought hard and well, but we cannot sit here and say, "we beat ourselves."

We surely helped their cause, but mistakes are not the only thing that leads to a loss, playing an opponent good enough to take advantage of those mistakes factors in too.

And Schalke coolly took advantage of the mistakes they could.

Yes, our guys went down to defeat in the end, but we went down swinging. There wasn't much more I could ask for.

hope you are right, cuz in every match we play hard but that is not enough cuz something is always bringing us down, red cards, penalties or something else

In my opinion, what is bringing us down is that our opponents seem to nearly always be better organized and better prepared. Sometimes the team can overcome that and sometimes they can't.

I think we have a pretty decent team. I think what our team needs is a better coaching staff to give them a better chance to win.
