The fix is in. If I was the Moroccan coach, i would have just pulled my team there. What's the point of playing?
Wow. The slo-mo repeat shows it was offside. WTH? PS: Doesn't change anything. Iran can't score again.
No only the arm. That doesn't count. They can do pretty exact measurements on those things in that room.
The only effect this decision has though is that Spain finish ahead of Portugal, so its Portugal vs Uruguay and Russia vs Spain.
Portugal and Spain are very evenly matched, so getting one or the other doesn't make a lot of difference. Spain has more history on its side though. That Portugal-Uruguay may be an awesome game, too. Spain must dispatch the Russians, but who knows.
I'm actually kind of happy about this. I have a ticket for the quarterfinal in Nizny Novgorod. It's the 1A/2B vs 1C/2D winners. There's a change, albeit a small one that that could be Argentina vs Portugal.. the huge Messi vs Ronaldo matchup. Doubt it will happen, but if the stars align correctly, that could happen - would be an awesome match to attend.

Hats off to Morocco. They played with their heart. The second goal of Spain looks a little suspicious but it is finished now. Spain and Portugal are through. Both Iran and Morocco played with fighting spirit and they could advance to R16 if they were in group A or F.
The ball was out before the cross. Also is the corner was taken from the opposite side, while the ref showed to the other side. Is that even allowed?
Morroco played some really nice football this tournament, with a little better luck they would have went through to the knockout rounds.
I have no idea why you care so much about this it doesn't matter Morocco would have been 4th regardless
I didn't see Morocco's game against Spain, but from everything I hear, Morocco had another great game. You have a great team and, truth be told, Morocco was the only side that truly troubled Iran for any sustained period of time. Both Spain and Portugal looked harmless by comparison.
