Iranian defenders contained CR7 pretty good in first half. Maybe they had focused on him so much that created the room for Mr.Q to score.

The match was not bad to watch but I expected Iran to show up more skills up front. Their two so called stars "Alireza Jahanbakhsh and Sardar Azmoun" have been less effective than #11 #17 and #10 in past two matches and this first half.

@ Iranian fans: Do you have any quality players in your arsenal? I think if you bring someone who can be more effective on free kicks and set pieces, you might score a goal or two. Portuguese defense is old and slow and you can use that against them.
