    Where: AB Soccer Park.
    When: 7:10pm

    Records:
AC St. Louis: 1-5-1 Goals: 5 Goals Against: 11

Tampa Bay Rowdies: 2-1-2 Goals: 5 Goals Against 6

The Good: Steve Ralston should be playing, and I'm hoping in the starting eleven!

The Why: We've had some friendly banter with the Tampa Bay fans in the main NASL forum. So, this could be a nice little grudge match as it were. Sibling Rivalry perhaps?

The What: Bring a friend to Soccer Park. We need to pack the stands this coming weekend.

    I'm predicting a 3-0 victory.

Not sure that AC have the ability to score three goals yet, but as always, I love your enthusiasm.

    Ability..pfft.

Ya just gotta want it bad enough.

If you look at our goals against, it's still higher than we can handle on a regular basis, buuuut...it's starting to come back down..in our last three matches, we've averaged only one a game.

Finally going to be able to make an AC St. Louis game! Atleast provided the Soccer Park field won't be underwater by Saturday. Going to try to bring some soccer loving friends out to this one as well.

As for the fans I like our chances. We're starting to find a semblance of an offense and the defense and Dufty seem to be getting more use to one another. Tampa isn't exactly scorching the nets this season which should help our cause.

On a side note has anyone come up with some good jokes for Long Tan yet?

Glad you're going to the game, but I hate that they are just giving away tickets. I suppose it's an inexpensive way to market the team to try and get fans that haven't been yet in for $1 and hope they will get hooked and come back. I still don't believe in just giving away your product though...that strategy never works.

Section 8 is always completely empty, its sight lines are blocked by the Scoreboard. I don't mind them giving those seats away to get more people into the park. And I don't mind discounts in general- whatever it takes to expose the game to more people. I'd rather have cheap tickets purchased than empty seats.

Colin here used the RCS discount at the Athletica game, so he damn well better be representing the same this time alongside us and Eads.

We'll call it the "All Saints Brigaders".

And no, I don't care how corny that is....or that 'brigader' isn't even a word.

I will confess, I bought 2 Sec 8 tickets. But I plan on sitting in Sec 20. Hopefully they won't be checking tickets.

Either that or I'll have to go behind the stands and have you drop your ticket to me. ;)

The first game they were being silly about checking tickets. The same girl asked to see my ticket everytime I got up to get a beer. "I'M THE SAME GUY THAT WAS WEARING A CHICKEN HAT 5 MINUTES AGO WHEN I PASSED YOU GOING OUT AND THE SAME GUY WEARING A CHICKEN HAT THAT GOT A BEER 20 MINUTES AGO!!!!!!!"

Anyway, for game 2 we moved down to section 19 from 16 and no one asked to see our tickets once. I don't think it will be much of an issue. Besides, you could always go up into the stands at section 8 and walk down the bleachers if they really have the red ass.

that's true. I felt kind of guilty at first, but then my wife reminded me that I'm buying more merchandise (green jersey, if they have it in my size) and all the money I spend on beer makes up the difference. So, I'm going to go with that.

Speaking of the scoreboard, when are they going to replace that thing? Or at least fix it so it's not constantly flickering.

How about "Brigadier"? That's a word.

I don't think they're checking for the supporter's section anymore. My season tickets were supposed to be for sect. 20, but they say sect. 16, and when I called the ticket office and asked about it, they said to just sit in 20 and not worry about it.

I could be mistaken, but I believe the supporters corner has been given cart blanche...within reason.

I mean...we have our own little slice of anarchy there.

Indeed it is, but it denotes one person, the leader of the brigade. There's no neato word for a member of a brigade, so I just made one up.

Hey, if Athletica can do it...

I've also never been harassed for a ticket. Even leaving the park to drop off merch at my car. Besides, I wouldn't feel guilty about a damn thing. They offered the deal. Not like you stole it.

    Yup.

I like brigader, for what it's worth.

Ain't no thang, if they offer a deal, ya should take it. Besides, you'll drink the difference and ya got a jersey already.
