Poland was absolute rubbish in WC 18 and Euro 20.

Now Poland will bunker against Argentina and give everything against Saudi Arabia.

Poland did not deserve to win. Neither did Mexico.

Who had Saudi Arabia in first place after match day one of the group?

    Anybody?

I think Saudi can get a point against this Mexican side in the next game. Depending on other results, that might be enough to get through the group stage even with a loss to Poland in the last game.

Mexico plays Argentina the next game. Not Saudi Arabia.

Despite the PK, Mexico was more adventurous all match and looked more threatening. But their shooting decisions were questionable, and their crossing was not good enough.

Poland, by contrast, were quite rigid and it did them well...as far as not giving up a goal. But they really lacked in attack.

Sorry, I misread the post by @Nico777

Although Poland were nothing special today either and seem vulnerable too.

    Agreed.

Would not surprise me at all to see the Saudis beat Poland cause at least they know how to put shots on goal from the run of play and will have the crowd support.

That said they may also have the dreaded emotional let down in a hangover game. Hard to get up against a team like Poland after such a historic win.

Argentina owns Mexico whether it be Copa America or Copa Mundials so I am still expecting them to find a way to get three points but you never know.

I was wondering if Mexico had won this, this could be one of those groups where all 4 team go into their final game with 3 points. Or maybe even finish with 4? Remember that group in 1994 Mexico, Italy, Ireland, Norway where all teams got 4 points and 0 goal difference... crazy that...

Poland is just kick the ball down the field and hope for the best.

Strange that a country of 40 million can't find a few good midfielders.

They literally played Zelinski as second striker behind Lewandowski. I was in disbelief.
