I don't think there could've been a better final match up for this World Cup. No huge favorite, no previous winners, and two excellent styles of play.

I totally agree with this and as has been stated before... it's the first time ever that there's been no Argentina, Brazil, Italy or Germany in a WC final.. long overdue imho. Also there's the Villa v Sneijder golden boot factor.

Well he´s definitely one of the best refs in this tourney. Then again, this world cup set a new standard in crappy calls. Let´s hope for the best

Spain collects at the(ir) 6-left deep, no angle for power, Stekelenburg blocks again.
