... Ivar Matusevich, Goal.com Spain "Two big teams, one great style. Germany is playing now as Spain have been for the past three years. La Roja have the better players but must be very concentrated to beat the Germans. Spain remains the clear candidate to win the match and go on to win the World Cup itself. Busquets, Xabi Alonso, Xavi, Cesc, Iniesta, Villa and Torres are too much for any team and also for Germany," Prediction: Germany 0-2 Spain ... Subhankar Mondal, Goal.com International ...The statistics match predictor gives Spain a 60% chance of winning the match...the European champions should just edge past the Germans." Prediction: Germany 0-1 Spain http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/3095.../world-cup-2010-betting-preview-germany-spain
... Spain is the favourite to beat Germany, with Betfair offering the best price of 13/8 on the Spanish win. http://www.gambling-guru.com/sports...ps/germany-vs-spain-preview-tips_20100705.htm
I don't and Holland has earned their position in the finals. Robben's theatrics do tarnish things a little - he does it more often and writhes in phony agony longer than most. They should add a pink card for such stuff - first pink, put on a bra. Second one, garters. Third one, five minutes in the pink birdcage. Let them play looking like drag queens.
Who are these people and why do I care what they have to say? A lot of pundits have picked spain, but mostly the same idiots who picked Argentina.
... The Germany v Spain odds make Spain the narrow favourites over Germany in both the outright World Cup Betting Odds as well as the match odds for this game, it should be close but Spain are fancied to come out on top. ... the Spanish will control possession meaning Germany are going to have much fewer attacks. ... if Spain restrict the number of chances Germany have by keeping possession themselves then they should be able to win the game. http://www.worldcup2010southafrica.com/world-cup-betting/odds/germany-v-spain-betting-odds-and-tips/
True. Hasn't anyone noticed that its an octopus?! Of course Australia was gonna lose to Germany, Serbia played with 11 guys and Germany played with 10, of course Ghana was gonna lose to Germany, Englands loss wasn't a surprise to me because of the way they played in the group stage. And eventually Argentina was gonna lose, they have no defense and their keeper is a catastrophe waiting to happen. Spain hasn't been so impressive they needed a late goal to beat Paraguay, and the teams they beaten weren't that good.
... chances are that Spain will enjoy a lot more of the possession than both England and Argentina did as Germany overran the midfield, that shouldn’t happen on Wednesday [vs Spain] so we should have a pretty even contest. With that said, we can’t split the two and feel this match has every chance of going all the way. http://www.soccerbetting.info/news/...ny-v-spain-wednesday-7th-july-semi-final.html
Yes, that's ridiculous. That Octopus doesn't even know what's going on outside of the water. Now my German Sheherd is predicting A Germany win. I gave him a choice of bratwurst vs. paella, and he wisely chose the brats.
Just a few hours away from the start of the second semi-final match...Germany vs. Spain and we are posting the latest updated odds from the major sportsbooks...Right now Spain is favorite to win the World Cup semi final game...the most bets that are still coming in today have Spain to win the game. Unless some last-minute betting spur occurs in favor of Germany, Spain will remain the odds-favorite team to win the semi-final game today and be the second team to participate in the final game against the Netherlands... ... a couple of days ago...Spain was the top favorite to win the [World Cup]. But much has changed since with the betting patters shifting in favor of the Netherlands in a big way and today, just hours before the semi-final Germany vs. Spain, the odds are now favoring the Dutch players to lift the gold trophy in South Africa. ... Netherlands is now the team holding the best odds to win the 2010 World Cup at +125, while Spain has been listed with +185 and Germany is now the underdog of the tourney with +200 odds, following Uruguay's exit. http://www.ogpaper.com/news/Germany-Spain-odds-070710.html
It's insulting to all of those pundits. You need to at least have the smarts of a chimp to be a pundit.
Of course the odds on Spain winning it all are down, they have to play against Germany. And of course Netherlands is highest currently because they only have to beat either Spain OR Germany.
... More than anything else this match could be decided by the showdown between midfield stars Bastian Schweinsteiger of Germany and Xavi of Spain. Xavi is pure class, with simple touches and maximum efficiency – and has barely given the ball away all tournament. Schweinsteiger is more dynamic and creative and has been the German heartbeat so far. Look out for: Schweinsteiger may have less freedom to roam forward in this clash, needing to keep a defensive eye on Spain’s talent-laden midfield. But if Germany is to get a foothold in the game he must keep an offensive mindset and Xavi and his colleagues on the back foot. Whatever your allegiance, enjoy the contest between these two men with differing style but similar excellence. http://www.kspr.com/sports/Germany-Spain-Five-Things-to-Watch-97910884.html
I'm looking forword to a great game to watch. I think it will be a close game. Cigars, now 'oranje juice and vodka', DVR set. Will find out who Netherland's gets to beat next!
Re: Match 62 (SF) - Winner 59 v Winner 60 - Pre-Match Thread And Löw is starting Trochowski over Kroos.
Should be a great game. I find it odd that on Betfair Spain to win by Penalty shootout is 13.0 (12/1)...Germany 11.5 (10.5/1)...so people seem to think if it goes to Penalties Germany are more likely to win yet Spain are favourite to win the match in normal time?! Are Germany really considered to be better penalty takers than Spain?
Germany is gonna take this game today. They just have too much firepower and are playing in better form than Spain. Germany then beats out the Netherlands to take the cup.
