Pedro should definitely NOT play in the final, if Spain manages to hold on here

Pedro knows he sucked as a starter.

    Silva is fast. Let's see.

Definitely had that coming. Somewhat surprised David Silva didn't start in place of Pedro anyway.

I hope that Torres sub won't become another "Pekeman's Riquelme" sub.

i hope Germany win the game, i wont want a see 2 bad teams on the finals...For me Netherlands played a bad soccer, and i dont agree that spain have really good team as many people are used to say, for me spain is much more a media team than a really good one.

82' 0-1 Spain break Germany's pressure at box top left, clear to midfield, switch to #18 Pedro 20m wide open running the right channel, with #9 Fernando Torres running the left. Pedro carries from his own half, 1-v-1 with #3 Arne Friedrich, through box top right, to 14m just right -- stumbles, cuts back right, and loses it meekly. Torres is not pleased ...

Ozil looks gassed. Same with Puyol.

He was touched, but not fouled. Certainly not enough to send him flying to the dirt.

No wonder why it took Paul so long to pick the winner.

Boy Spain knows how to blow time! And they're not even really being lame, it's just monkey-in-the-middle.

    Thanks for your valuable input.

I think 3 minutes extra time is a given. Germany's attackers look very tired, except for Kroos. Same with Spain's defense. In the end, Iker may be the difference.

Low killed this game as I suspected. I can't believe that he went so defensive. It was good call for 1st half but retarded for 2nd.

Christ! Was waiting for that 1 on 1 and Torres couldn't pounce on that opportunity.

89' 0-1 #9 Fernando Torres controls at box top left, with an unclear 2-v-2 gaggle strung out along the right post lane. Torres fakes centerward, pulls a behind-the-back trickery and cuts into the box to 14m midleft, but #3 Arne Friedrich just slide-pokes it away.

Yeah. I'm reminded of all the comments that "there isn't a team in the tournament" that wouldn't do what Ghana did against the US in extra time.

Spain is being masterful right now. Which might be good because their defense hasn't looked great.
