Looks like Argentina will be booking their tickets to Buenos Aires right now. Game, set and match.

Funny how Inter Milan's CL winning team had 4 Argentine starters, and all were instrumental in their success. Two of them are on the bench, and other two are on their couches right now. This team was always doomed, and as shown today against the first really good team they play, Maradona just isn't a good coach.

This is why Pele said he'd never coach Brazil, to save face.

    Ekoku sucks.

Although you have to admit that Klose is much more effective for country versus club

This was supposed to be an epic match.

It turned out to be a rout.

The completed pass rate of the Germans must be scary. If I've seen them miss half a dozen passes the whole game, that's it.

76' 0-3 Off a left short corner, #7 Bastian Schweinsteiger receives a simple backpass to 17m wide of left. He cuts inside, toasts Argentina's center-flank, is in alone through 12m box left -- strolls all the way to 6-top left, then cuts endline to shake the last guy. Cutback pass to 5m near post beats #22 Sergio Romero's lunge, Schweinsteiger keeps going to -2m left side netting. #3 Arne Friedrich out-touches an outstretched defender's foot, trips over him, but guides it just inside the left post low. His first-ever international goal
