Bielsa should just call it a day and stop pretending to match Brazil .... if Chile keeps attacking so recklessly they are going to suffer a historical defeat

Brazil is not even playing hard and they are already 3-0

 

I checked his stats on first half. He has 19-16. Funny enough, now he has 25-16

 

Brazil's pace is one of the fastest I've seen them play in the last decade..

He dribbles straight forward through Chile's depleted backfield, weaves slightly right to outpace one defender, and reaches box arc top right, then passes to box arc left foot. #11 Robinho, running parallel to him for half the field, one-touches a curl to the right post low, past #1 Claudio Bravo's dive and into the side netting.

 

What stats? Where?

Out of those 16 successful passes, 12 or so were passes to the back or to the side. I can count his successful "playmaking" passes in attack with the fingers of one hand.

 

Even with Suazo at 100%...he scored 2 but we still lost 4-2 in Brazil...

Mate, I can't give you solid stats and I can just urge you to watch the game and Kaka in it. I did it, because untill this game I was worried that BRA play might be broken in the middle

Surprising how Paraguay can defeat them, just driving them crazy with their defending.

 

He's not bad, but he's not the Kaka we bought (fan of Real Madrid here).

He used to be much better. And Elano has been more instrumental to this Brazil than Kaka.

There's a reason why a healthy Kaka has been on the bench and Van der Vaart has been taking the role of playmaker with us.

It is kind of pathetic and sad .... Chile is playing its heart out trying to to get a goal, but its attack is too crappy, Brazil's defence is having a field day

Yup...Paraguay have what it takes to beat them...one of the few teams out there that can push their buttons...sadly I think they will not reach the final.

 

Elano is not a player who is playmaking. Let me give you practical example. You can see how much worst Brasil game became after Kaka losing it now.
Elano is IMO more Robinho type.

 

Yellow card for Ramires. Dunga, take Juan and Luis Fabiano out now. We do not need to be any more undermanned.

 

He certainly should. I'd take off Robinho and Kaka. I'd leave Luis Fabiano on.

I never said Elano's role is playmaker. Just that he had more successful passes leading to attack than Kaka until now.

Now, to watch this. I feel sad for Chile but can't say I didn't expect this. In South America, Brazil is Chile's "papá."
