This game was very predictable and played out exactly like someone who's watched this sport for years would imagine. Portuguese supporters on this forum however are acting like we just got eliminated after trying very hard. Very strange how things can happen often and with several teams over the years but for whatever reason some people just never seem to learn. We'll beat either Switzerland or Serbia in the rd of 16 and that's when it gets tricky.

After what happened today and Yesterday with Spain and Portugal i don't know anymore...but Cameroon is one of thé weakest teams in this World cup. They tied Serbia cause Serbia is a headcase nothing more.
Lose a game when you are among favorites is kind of dirt...i don't think Brazil wants to lose a match but we'll see.

The difference is that Brazil's substitutes are Martinelli, Jesus, Antony, Guimaraes, Fabinho... not Joao Mario or Guendouzi.

Of course not. I'm not saying it will happen, but Cameroon has all to play for and Brasil for peanuts. I also agree Brasil has a better bench than Portugal or France for one.

Cameroon however is pretty good offensively. If they manage to avoid excessive goals, who knows? I think Cameroon could have a goal or two in them, if Brasil don't dispose of them quickly.

    Or Cameroon.

I actually predicted Korea would win vs Portugal.

It's normal to have such outcome.

Portugal eliminated Uruguay and Ghana and they are stronger than Korea. If they meet Korea later, Portugal will win because of World Cup 2002.:D
Portugal would win against Korea very easy.:D Obviously intentional defeats of Spain and Portugal. And why should anyone blame them? All legit.

What if we see the victory of Cameroon against Brazil.
For sure, Switzerland will win against Serbia. Some Swiss players are very motivated to eliminate them.

    Brazil will win against Cameroon.:)
    Runner up plays against Portugal.
Why would Brazil aim on Portugal? They would rather play with Korea.
They could arrange that Switzerland ends 2nd so that they make problems to Portugal, possible eliminacao du Porchugau.

It would be very funny, if Korea wins against Brazil and if Croatia meets Korea in quarterfinals. Easiest path for the DSquared2 ones.

For Brasil to play Portugal Switzerland would need to beat Serbia by three goals (assuming Brasil loses by one).

Chinese fans are now accusing Koreans of match fixing and bribery. The East Asian rivalry is far uglier than anything in the West.

Let them run their mouth because their chances to make to the final in 2026 is still questionable even with more quotas (4.5 -> 8.5).
