We have to be careful here; there is no longer the need for it to be "excessive force" to meet the criteria for SFP. The fact that it endangers the safety is enough, regardless of force - current wording here (my emphasis added): "Any player who lunges at an opponent in challenging for the ball from the front, from the side or from behind using one or both legs, with excessive force or endangers the safety of an opponent is guilty of serious foul play."
