If the result holds, it would be 4 wins

    Australia - Serbia 2:1
    Korea Republic - Greece 2:0
    Japan - Cameroon 1:0

and then the Japan - Denmark game

Oops, didn't notice you said this round of games. My fault.

    - Good question... :p

I forgot Australia won but South Korea didn't win, they drew but that it was the required result so I guess I got a bit confused there... oh well, my bad but North Korea could still win against Sven's men....

one goal changes things, in this case, Denmark are back in it with a goal.

yeah but they'll still need two more as they have to win this game - a draw puts Japan through, right?

Yup -- Japan are through with a draw.

Anyone else think Honda is seriously underpaid? He's under 4-year contract to CSKA Moscow, I think. I bet after this world cup, CSKA could get themselves a serious transfer fee for him if they were so inclined.

Meanewhile, in the other group match...

[result]Cameroon equalises, 1-1. If they can get the win and Japan snags another goal, Japan will top the group.[/result]

    Question though...
[result]Given how the bracket is shaping up, would they WANT to finish 1st in the group?![/result]

I'd use the highlights just in case. For example, they're showing the matches consecutively here in Australia - plenty of people will watch them back to back.

Yeah. 6 of one... half a dozen of the other...

I guess it all comes down to how Group H shakes out.

Lol, Denmark couldn't even buy a goal as they are playing now... That miss-kick was almost as bad as the Nigeria miss.

okay another stat question here.. should Japan score another, would that be the AFC's biggest victory ever in the world cup.. I know South Korea beat Poland 2-0 in 2002 I think that's the record...
