No James, and CHO is not a defender and so Trev is under pressure. Saul is also getting used to the league and the tempo, etc. Kante is obviously missed.
Tuchel doesnt get a lot wrong but I feel he has rushed saul into this team. Would have eased him in and maybe spotted trev that role today. Players seem surprised how fast this league is compared to the continental leagues. Takes a while to adjust, especially in that spot.
Our players need to do their defensive work. Ziyech doesn't do the defensive work that Mount does for instance.
Good lord we are VERY lucky to be ahead here, second best all over the park, Saul has been a disaster! Perhaps Tuchel thought Villa would dig in like Palace? We couldn't beat them last year and unless something changes we won't be beating then this year. They are FAR more aggressive all over the pitch, they have no interest in playing football but instead simply launch it long into our box - and it's working! Mendy has kept us in this game. Tuchel needs to make changes or we won't hold on to this lead.
